I agree with most of the points stated, but I disagree with the concept of terrorism being the same thing as crime.

Terrorism is when someone commits a crime as a statement against something, or for the havok that it creates. Terrorists don't always have a goal in mind, other than to "screw with the system." However, crimes can be committed out of desparation, selfish goals, fascination, or sheer boredom. Someone who steals a loaf of bread for dinner is a theif out of pure desperation. They are not a terrorist, they do not wish (necessarily) to bring the system down, nor to inconvenience anyone else. Terrorists act to create massive destruction (WTC case in point). Someone who smokes marijuana out of boredom (let's say he grew it himself, from seeds he found somewhere, and in no way does money go back to "terrorists.") He's just committed a crime, and is a criminal, and has done nothing to inconvenience, destroy, or molest anyone or anything else.

Just my two cents.
