Job Description: An experienced sales professional is needed to contribute to the substantial sales growth of our industry leading products through direct and indirect sales.

Responsibilities

Complete territory management and ownership across all commercial business as well as state (Provincial in Canada), local government and education customers. Federal business is not included.

Achieve quarterly and annual quota targets assigned to territory.

Developing new business opportunities with net new customers across all Secure product lines.

Maintaining existing accounts and cross-selling new business into those accounts with product lines they do not own.

Ownership of entire sales cycle from initial call, face to face meetings, presentations & demonstrations, partner involvement to bookings. Post sales involvement is necessary to ensure support & subscription renewals as well as development of cross selling opportunities.

Assist channel account manager with the development and management of all partners.

Delivering presentations on the company and our solutions to groups of all sizes.

Own and manage a forecast in salesforce.com.

Keep up to date on all expense reports on a weekly basis.

Secure reference accounts and press releases from customers and partners.

Attend regular training sessions provided by the training department at Secure Computing Corporation.
Job Requirements: BS degree or equivalent experience required.

7+ year track record of outstanding sales results selling networking related software/hardware products required.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills are a must.

Strong solutions selling background with demonstrable experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred.

Government compliance

ILP/DLP

Web security

Application security

Identity & access management

Systems Integration

Specific industry experience with the following types of companies is preferred but not required.

Web Security solutions manufacturers

Mail Security solutions providers

Application Firewall Manufacturers

Identity and Access Management solution providers

Value Added Reseller representing multiple security industry solutions.

Very solid understanding of general networking and network security technologies.

A strong history of quota attainment on a regular basis must be shown with President's Club/Top Achiever award winners preferred.

A proven track record of accurate forecasting.

A real independent self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who needs little direction on developing and managing a territory from a home based office.

Extensive history of channel or partner related selling experience.

Formal sales training experience from a multitude of different classes or trainers.

Strong reference list that includes peers, supervisors, partners and customers.
